Jon Kent being age up done by Bendis' terrible writing and DC upper management mandating it has been one of the worst comic book decision I've ever witnessed. It made people who like the character before Bendis came around feeling alienated and indifferent of the whole push which screams lazy writing.

I have no issues of Jon being Bi. But it really doesn't feel special and Tom Taylor announcing on Coming Out Day being a big deal as needle mover on paper but we barely seen his love interest (seriously he just reminds me too much of Quentin Quire/Kid Omega with the same hair color and glasses). Realistically its not gonna improve sales down the line.

And DC is dodging and ignoring the awkward elephant in the room of Clark and Lois letting Jon go with Oz in the most eggregious Out-of-Character moment because no way in hell they let their son going with a stranger. Jon ends up being tortured by the Crime Syndicate for 7 years and haven't shown any sign of mental trauma by trying to have the same optimist personality which is really just a fake mask to cope.

At this point I lost interest in the Superman brand of my list for reading. Thanks DC for ruining a character that was unique and special just to make a boderline divisive character because of your dumb selfishness. 😑
